TÄ! Cultural Club: Sole Azul

Sole Azul tears tango up by its roots and plants it deep in the northern permafrost. The trio blends the improvisational spirit of jazz with the soulful melancholy of tango in a uniquely personal way. Their program features original, tango-inspired compositions.

Sole Azul performs on Saturday, November 22 at 8 p.m. at Korundi House of Culture Restaurant as part of the TÄ! Cultural Club series.

The group’s acclaimed debut album Quasi Tango was released in February 2019. Sole Azul features Eero Tikkanen (bass), Harri Kuusijärvi (accordion), and Pauli Lyytinen (saxophone).

The concert is organized by the City of Rovaniemi’s Cultural Services. The Korundi Restaurant will be open during the performance.
