Due to popular demand and audience requests, a memorial concert for Tapani Kansa will tour across Finland in autumn 2026!

Honouring the remarkable career and works of legend and true artist Tapani Kansa, the concert features powerful interpretations by Jaska Mäkynen, Erkki Räsänen, Harri Piiroinen, Jouni Laasonen, and Nina Piiroinen.

Tapani Kansa was one of the most significant interpreters of his era. His repertoire included operettas, disco music, schlager, rock and roll, as well as settings of Eino Leino’s poetry. He also brought international hits to Finnish audiences.

The concert promises a truly atmospheric evening filled with beloved classics and lesser-known gems, including R-A-K-A-S, Anna mun jäädä sun luo, Kuljen taas kotiin päin, Kalajoen hiekat, Äidin pikkupoika, Anniina, as well as beautiful Argentine tangos and duet songs he performed during his career, such as Se on rakkautta oikeaa.
