LCO Artistic Director John Storgårds has assembled a programme full of romance and new music with composers Elgar, Berio, Matthews, Mason Panufnik and Savolainen. LCO solo cello Lauri Angervo interprets the romantic lines of Elgar's cello concerto and ensembles vary from small to bigger.
