Linda Lampenius – The Return of the Pop Queen

Beloved by the entire Finnish nation, violinist Linda Lampenius is finally making a spectacular return to pop music. Her new and long-awaited pop show includes both Linda’s original compositions and acoustic and electric violin covers of Finnish and international hits.

Lampenius’ pop album Linda Lampenius was released in 1997 and climbed to number 8 on Finland’s official album chart. Although the album was only released in Finland, her single "Violator/Toccata and Fugue" attracted international attention. For example, the Daily Record wrote about a new “sensation,” and The Sunday Times noted that she had “enjoyed great popularity in Scandinavia with her vibrant version of Toccata and Fugue.” Lampenius has performed music from her pop album both in Finland and abroad, including at the Sporting Club in Monaco, as well as televised performances at the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.

The Linda Lampenius – The Return of the Pop Queen concert will once again ignite the Linda-mania that swept across the globe in the 1990s. The concert will feature, among other things, Linda’s three major hits that reached over a billion viewers through the Baywatch TV series. She will also perform a medley of the most iconic James Bond themes, the smash hit by Kuuma, and Pete Parkkonen’s Kohta sataa. This is an experience you don’t want to miss!
