Open doors day at Korundi

Free entry to Korundi’s exhibitions, musical performances, and ticket offers

Korundi will host an Open House Day on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in celebration of Rovaniemi Week. Entry to the exhibitions is free. The Rovaniemi Art Museum presents three current contemporary art exhibitions, filled with stories and perspectives from the North. The very first Sápmi Triennale brings together an impressive collection of Sámi contemporary art and duodji (traditional Sámi handicrafts). In addition, two exhibitions from the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation Collection are on display: Great Dreams and Temporarily Here. The youngest visitors can get creative in a self-guided art workshop or enjoy a round of art bingo!

Enjoy musical performances at Korundi Kitchen & Café

Throughout the day, musical performances will take place in the Korundi Kitchen & Café. The cousins of the “A Cup of Music” concerts, called “Mini Cups,” will brighten up the day on September 6. The first concert begins at 12:30 pm., featuring lively tunes from the Auriga Wind Quintet. At 1:30 pm, relax with the flute duo Laura & Heli. Each Mini Cup lasts about 15 minutes.

The Lapland Chamber Orchestra has started its autumn season and is offering great benefits in honor of Rovaniemi Week. These offers are available at Korundi’s ticket office.

Art Museum exhibitions open 11 am - 6 pm.

Korundi Kitchen & Café open 12 pm - 4 pm, no lunch.
