Blues Rock for the Christmas Spirit – It’s not Christmas without Erja Lyytinen and Friends’ Christmas Tour!

Erja Lyytinen is a beloved guitarist and singer, as well as the hostess of one of Finland’s most spectacular Christmas tours. Every year, the tour features exciting guest artists performing in a warm and festive atmosphere. On the 2026 tour, Lyytinen will be joined by guest stars Petra Gargano and Jussu Pöyhönen.

The now-classic concert program includes familiar elements such as guitar solos and favorite songs from Erja and her friends throughout the years, along with new interpretations and rock arrangements of Christmas songs. The approximately two-hour concert features performances together with Erja Lyytinen’s band, as well as solo songs by Erja and the guest artists. Each guest adds their own flavor to the musical experience, creating a magical Christmas atmosphere for the audience.

Internationally acclaimed guitarist and singer Erja Lyytinen is known for her powerful expression that blends blues, rock, and progressive influences. With a career spanning more than 20 albums, extensive international touring, and numerous awards and recognitions, she is regarded as one of Finland’s most respected guitarists. In 2026, her 50th anniversary year as an artist will culminate with this tour.

Petra Gargano is known from the band Tiktak as well as for her successful solo career. Her strong interpretations and stage presence have made her a beloved performer. Christmas is especially meaningful to Petra. Her version of “Tulkoon joulu” has already surpassed 840,000 streams on Spotify. She has also previously performed on the Raskasta Joulua tours, bringing festive spirit to both concert halls and homes through her music.

Jussu Pöyhönen is best known as the singer and songwriter of Suurlähettiläät, as well as for his work in radio and musical theatre. His style is characterized by melodicism, a strong groove, and deeply personal lyrics. Who could bring the spirit of Christmas to people’s hearts better than this beloved artist, known nationwide for his iconic voice and interpretations?
