SAMULI PUTRO - SIINÄ KAIKKI

Samuli Putro is one of Finland’s most successful songwriters, originally known as the lead singer of the hit band Zen Café. Over the course of nearly twenty years as a solo artist, Putro has released eight solo albums, toured extensively across Finland, and received recognition including the Emma Award for Male Soloist of the Year as well as the prestigious Juha Vainio Award.

Known for his modesty and music that speaks to ordinary people, Putro’s debut solo album Elämä on juhla (“Life Is a Celebration”) reached number one on the charts upon its release in 2009. His successful 2012 album Tavalliset hautajaiset (“Ordinary Funerals”) held the top position on the Finnish album chart for an impressive 19 weeks. The album also features Olet puolisoni nyt (“You Are My Spouse Now”), a song that has become one of the most beloved Finnish songs of all time.

Samuli Putro’s music is timeless and resonates with audiences of all ages. The beloved musician’s latest album, Ikävä mummoa (“Missing Grandma”), was released in spring 2023.
