Renata Mojzer

Sub-Principal 1st Violin

Renata Mojzer started playing the violin at the age of seven. After primary school she studied at the Liszt Ferenc Academy in Budapest, where she graduated in 1990. Renata was one of the founders of the Salieri Chamber Orchestra in 1987. The Salieri Chamber Orchestra has toured and given concerts throughout Europe. In the fall of 1990, Renata was attached to the South African National Orchestra for two years, during which time she also played in the Transvaal Chamber Orchestra. In the autumn of 1992, Renata returned to Hungary to continue working for the Salieri Chamber Orchestra. In October 1993, Renata moved to Finland and since August 1995 she has been the concertmaster of the Lapland Chamber Orchestra II.
